Six Brown Chicks Media was created by Zondra Hughes, a best-selling author and award-winning editor, who hails from the Huffington-Post and Ebony magazine. Legacy members include stellar businesswomen and authors, Gina B., Shoya Bowman, Yanni Brown, A Comeaux and Dr. Dawj. Today there are 22 correspondents throughout the United States.

In 2012, the Chicks appeared on Iyanla, Fix My Life, on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
After the show, Dr. Iyanla Vanzant revised their mission and today, B.R.O.W.N. C.H.I.C.K.S. symbolize women who are: Being Responsible Obedient Willingly Now Choosing Honesty Integrity Commitment Kindness and Self-Worth.
For 8 years, the Chicks produced live relationship chats at The Black Women’s Expo, and those conversations continue online with the #SBCCHAT, the viral relationship chat hour that is enjoyed by thousands weekly. Their mission is to provide women with content and resources that help them build strong relationships. Their vision is to be the go-to source for information and inspiration when it comes to love and relationships for women everywhere.
